Look on the bottom side of the engine under the front of the cvt cover. Thats where you will find the code your talking about. Thats not the right one. That is the only number I can find. Here is a photo of the location.

i don't think those cams are going to be compatible with your scoot. i'd focus on your variator weights if you're looking for better acceleration. I agree! Finding parts for that head will be very hard. I wonder if the scooter came stock with that head. usually thats an aftermarket thing. Well, I ordered an A9 before I knew better so I will see and report back here. At the cost of only $25 with free shipping it is not a big deal.

Okay, I am a total noob to the scooter thing. I was told but a guy that "knows scoots" that my Adly Thunder bike 150cc has the GY6 motor.
I just went out to look at the engine code so I could look up just exactly what motor I had and the code was in the correct spot but looks like no other codes I have seen. My code is "CT150"
Here is where I am lost, I was told that I have a long case GY6 but things don't add up.
My belt is a 743-20-30 which is for the short case GY6 My tire size is 120/70/12 witch will not fit a short case My side cover is about 17" long which is the size of a long case But my side cover only has 8 bolts which is what the short case uses.
Looking online all I can find is The Adly THUNDER BIKE 150 uses a variation of the GY6 engine, with a 4-valve head for superior performance.
Anyone have any ideas?

If you have a four valve head the A10 cam want fit. None of the A-cams want fit... I am new, why is that? Looking at the service manual everything looks the same but instead of a standard rocker my rockers are shaped like a Y. The cam still only has 2 lobes.

Just to keep this thread alive I will post more videos. This is not a scooter video. This is a dual sport video. Enjoy.

Well, I went to order the A9 but clicked on the wrong auction... I bought the A10 but sent him a message asking for the A9... we will see what I get.

So, I was looking to get a new cam for my Adly 150 scooter. I was looking at something like the A10 better power off the line without dropping top speed. Here is a photo of the head. Is this normal for a stock scooter? _DSC4331 by seth0941, on Flickr

I guess I should say what I am wanting it to do. I am a bigger guy about 240# and I am looking for a little better off the line power without dropping top speed. Think an A10 is what I need?

Cool. Some nice pics in there. This isn't a scooter video, but we are riding. My friend and I rode from Tulsa to the Rockies. On the way back, my buddy rigged up a contraption so that he could film while ridining.....then shot and edited this all on his phone. Very well done, the music fit the editing style perfectly!
