Connect the two red wires that lead to the diode and leave black wires unconnected /tape them off to nothing. If you connect the two black wires as well as the red wires, the engine will turn but you will get no spark.

Just in Case anyone needs to wire up a Vento ignition
Thing runs like mad. Couple of parts on the way and then the virgin test ride where i flog it
ride out!!

Thanks brah! I like scooters. They dont make your legs hot from engine heat, they dont cost anything to operate or require and special treatment. As a matter of fact, these two sat in a backyard not running for a very long time. Every engine just wants to run tho, and with a quick jet clean and a new racing cdi, the little baja 50 lit up strong and ran hard ......not very pretty but a great fishing or quick trip to auto zone ride. The Vento50turbo 2 stroke is something Ive never wreched on before, as I stared at it for 5 minutes looking for the oil dipstick before realizing it is a two stroke. After wrenching on gy6 applications, it will be fun to get the little oil burner runnin and see if I can finally smoke some scooters from red lights late at night here in South Florida...hah anyway here are the pics The ignition has a diode and i cant find the brass piece. please advise as what combo of brass here will get the fire before i try  ? Lets ride!!         |

Went into selling gsxrs and sportbikes again.
then Im back on scooters, its real competitive, but i found 2 50cc scoots last night
I will post up pics in the mornin
I finally got a 2 stroke.

Fixed some speed misfire with a new coil...hit 39 on police radar today....going to start tweaking the variator and possibly a bbk soon......if you are hitting 40 with just some tweaks, how much top speed and how much faster will you get there with an
80cc big bore
any projections?

If you compress the forks enough anything will fit

its kinda like that street outlaws show where we list the top 10 fastest 50cc verified bikes and list them
at any time a contnder can opt for next place with gps verified speed
lol
I have 2 tao taos i have yet to identify either as special 63....one has performance crapon it 35mph verified by radar
the other has gutted exhaust 38 verified police radar
I reallly want to build a super fast 50....Im keeping my eye out for that 2 stroke power

Fixed, Racing CDI and coil , pod filter. new jets tomorrow. forgot to measure the bore, but put it back together, it was assembled wrong. vroom vroom yawn 10 hours later , I gotta get faster than this speaking of faster i am trying to get 48 mph out of this scoot after tweaking the rollers /variator I still may bi bore it, but wanted to see if i could get it runnin first...... pics   |

lol if you think that is stripped check out these pics. I unseized the engine and am working to put it back together. the bolts werent in there correctly and the valve lash was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy of. It may have been off enough to cause the failure. the cylinder was scored just a hair but everything is smooth and new looking with no streaks. idk we will see hope it dont blow the f#$#@k up...    |

Well D, I dont want to telegraph all of my moves, some of them i just fake like a bait and switch type of thing. It seems alot of people are tryin to get scooters....so I changed gears for a minute to let them buy out .....but I still scored what i wanted. Tao Tao 50cc special 63? we shall see. ....it ran for 3o seconds, made noise and is now not even turning over. I guess its time for that 80cc kit. the pics......   I have some other irons in the fire but may be taking a change in business but still gonna mod scooters and fix em' cheers, blow out some smoke and pour out some drink |

3 out of 4 people really dont want to sell their stuff (scoot) on CL. They have no drive to sell. I have figured out my clientele......recovering drug addicts and spanish guys. Which is coolwith me, cool people man. i had 3 scooters lined up to buy, but 2 out of 3 bugged out or couldnt wait for me to gather a truck up. But thats ok, there are more than a few out there. The TOMOS sold for an outrageous 500 bucks almost immidiately after i posted it at that price. The KMCO sold for 500 as well, outrageous price and dude was happy as because he beat everyone elses product by 3-400 bucks. The magic number is 500. They will go so fast at that rate and nobody can compete with that. I used half the flipmoney to put into another investment to drive the scooter business....maybe soeone will wake up and want to business today, maybe not.......the only problem I can find with this venture is finding enough scooters to fix. Gonna chill today and not force anything, hope you have a goo day d, and everyone else ridin today, im walkin tot he store. no scootets  |

Insane stuff. I want a scooter that fast, but I cant find too many 2 strokes around here....I guess Ill wait for one to pop up with a title. Well I made my first service call and it was just a dead battery so I did not get paid as i diagnose for free. However the scooter now has a broken starter so I may go out on site and fix it . I am doing pro bono work to et business in the door. The TOMOS sold at 2am last night to a couple of spanish guys.....it was fun and the blue scoot sells this morning. I am scheduled to pick up 3 scooters today. I need help as i dont have a truck, I am floating ona wing and a prayer on this. Hopefully have some cool pics of some new scoots and a special project scoot just for me I have to have a toy or I just cant work lol!!!!  |

Well D, that would be cool, I cant think of any reason anyone wouldnt want to live in SF. maybe not Miami, but just outside Miami gives you the benefits without all the crime and cost.
The rental places look like they have it on lock already with beachfront rentals/brankd new kmycos it looks like. There are multiple scooter sales and service shops.......most will scam you pretty bad....
( according to their internet comments).. IMO a shop that sells and rents and services would only survive if the overhead was so small it made it possible to undercut and outperform the competiton
just like any other business,its pretty cutthroat

Well I met a cool dude on the boulevard last night and I asked him to join darkside ...he asked if there was a website, well there isnt so i googled it and
ut oh
there is already a darkside scooter club, I should have checked first....they are in the UK tho. I dont want to rob the name maybe somebody from uk can give a blessing on the name or maybe the name will change if they desire that
But i had a great idea, we as a club willfind a scooter, fix it, and either donate it or raffle it off to someone who really needs transporation.
We will do good deeds to make up for our wildness
