Love absolutely scooters; they're less than an hour from my house. Have you tried the sponsors of the site? Scrappydogscooters, scooter elements, tvnacman's, partsforscooters, etc.?

Kinda can't take pictures But I have a digital camera that can; maybe I'll just do pictures. That'll make things easier to share on the forum anyway. Thanks, Millsc! There are no spark plugs that increase engine performance, if thats what you're after. per·for·mance noun \pə(r)-ˈfȯr-mən(t)s\4: a : the ability to perform : efficiencyb : the manner in which a mechanism performs. ef·fi·cien·cynoun \i-ˈfi-shən-sē\ 1 : the quality or degree of being efficient 2 a : efficient operation b (1) : effective operation as measured by a comparison of production with cost (as in energy, time, and money) (2) : Sparkplug gap alone can raise or lower your engine's MPG. I don't see how that doesn't correlate to engine efficiency/performance. With this example shows that iridium plugs cause some change in mpg. Here we see that the physical properties of iridium are indeed different from the standard applications of copper and other metals in a spark plug. This is the spark pattern: www.globaldenso.com/en/products/aftermarket/plug/power/images/p1-6.jpgAnd finally, here's some propaganda from an iridium sparkplug manufacturer that shows the difference in fuel consumption: www.globaldenso.com/en/products/aftermarket/plug/qa/iridium/images/p14-2.gifConclusion: Spark plug gap plays a significant role in the spark pattern. Spark plug spark pattern has an effect on MPG, even if it is minute. The characteristics of spark plugs range; copper, platinum, iridium, silver, etc. The characteristic of a sparkplug's spark thus changes. Thus, the economical efficiency of a vehicle is not wholly dependant on, but is indeed effected by your spark plug and spark plug gap. Therefore; sparkplugs effect performance.

if its your first time i wouldn't tape it, best to not add any distractions You're right that it is my first time and I probably shouldn't do it live because I'll just embarrass myself, but since it is my first time it's probably in my best interest to have someone help record it in case I need to pinpoint any possible mistakes I might make. Even if it takes a few hours. Maybe I'll get another scooter down the line and do a live stream of installing stuff on that, when I'm better at it. I live in a house full of children, for years, distractions are easy to overcome. ;D Let alone the constant interruptions. But now those kid brothers of mine are 12 and 14 and should be able, if not willing, to help me do this. Say... What kind of oil do you use to lube your piston and cylinder on install? I keep reading to use 2-stroke oil, but that confuses me.

yeah it was me ;D that muffler should fit, i only run into problems when the scoot has dual shocks Awesomesauce. We'll know for sure tomorrow. We'll also find out whether I need your rocker-arms or not since I ordered some digital calipers. ;D I was thinking of doing the whole bbk live if I can. That might be interesting if I can get my tablet setup for it. If not, then it'll just be another really long bbk video on youtube :/

I first learned how to ride a bicycle about two years ago, and I had one of a time. I was losing balance and crashing all the time. Turns were scary, stopping was almost impossible, and every time I'd try to pedal on to a sidewalk after a bit of road I would crash into the curb because my precision was off. It took a year of practice before I was finally able to take a ride without falling off, but I wrecked two bikes before that happened.
When I got my Honda Zook it was like the easiest thing in the world to balance on for me compared to the bicycle. I wasn't afraid of turning, stopping was easy, and going high speeds (20mph, lol) didn't make me wobble at all. I never fell off my honda zook.
Then I got my Great Leap Forward and didn't seem to have any problems balancing at all. After riding the with the tiny wheels on the zook it was a HUGE upgrade to go to these ginormous 10" wheels. The only times I've ever lost balance was when there was either ice, sand, or grass in the road causing me to completely lose my tire grip. Now, as long as I keep my eyes forward I never lose my balance after all the practice I've had. I've only got 1k miles on the thing but already I could sit on it sideways and still balance if I wanted to (which has happened before when bored waiting at a stop sign or stoplight and fidgeting around on the seet).
Yeah, my post isn't all that helpful... Other than the lesson of "Practice, Practice, Practice". Maybe find a goped to ride; then you'll be praying that you can ride your wobbly scooter again ;D

Wow,,these are some pretty impressive numbers,,one of the best parts about this hobby for me is working on my scoot,,and always trying to better it,,like a gentlemen said in another post,,scooters don't die,,they can all be resurrected as long as the frame is not bent in half. I believe that quote can be attributed to Chris Mills, if I'm not mistaken.

My odometer says 2358, I got the thing with something like 1421 on it (title says 1441, but I drove at least 20+ miles with my temporary plates).
That's over 900 miles in roughly five months (most of which it was too rainy or snowy outside to ride). Not to mention The Lost Miles when my speedo puck broke and I drove at least 50 miles without it.
So, by Thursday, when my bbk should come, I will have driven 1k china-miles ;D
