Not sure the terminators can be macho, they're pure mechanical.
The borg start out human (although that opens a whole area of thought I'd rather not go). And they converted Pickard. And they have the absolute best spaceship that totally spits on unnecessary aerodynamics.

Terminators never sleep. Sleeping is not macho. The Borg technically don't sleep, but they must regenerate every so often.
