While we wait for the new stud and gasket to finish the BBK, started on electrics and getting the new lights and switches mounted. Using the old harness for now, once I have everything hooked up and working correctly, I'll go back and eliminate all the unused wires and slop, and use that as the scheme for a new harness over the winter.

Back end is wired. all connections are soldered and skrink wrapped, got rid of a lot of garbled up mess, just waiting on parts now, stud and head gasket, throttle grip set, right hand start/kill switch and turn signals to replace the non-legal ones.

Since you called it a Rat Bob, does that mean you will apply some kind of patina, rather than glossy paint? Rat Rod cars usually have a weathered appearance.

Was going to, and then changed my mind but I like the name and since there are no actual rules in the game, it's all good.
I might repaint it green for my Colorado trip

Well, the paint needs retouched after the idiot driver encounter a few blocks into the test drive, still need to fabricate the floor pan and some pegs, the saddle seat will probably be an over winter project, so I'll most likely end up finishing the season in this configuration. A slight difference in appearance and performance at least ")

With just over 400 miles on the BBK, can't find a thing to complain about in regards to the Glixal kit. 0-25 in a half block, 0-30 in a block, cruise all day at 35, WOT will give you 42 with the stock head and carb after adjusting the valves. Adjusting the valves actually yielded significant improvement overall, idles steady, lot's of low end punch and the top end isn't wimpy, I expect that to improve further with the new carburetor coming, 20mm with /30 jets.
