Well, since I've zero idea who Crabby is and too bed-snug to google, I'm going with Simon. More famous must equate to more macho, right?

I consider myself to be a connoisseur of the cartoons of that period (as shown by my avatar), but I just cannot remember Crabby. Simon Bar Sinister is more macho.

Okay, for anyone else wanting to know, I got bugged enough that I googled Crabby.
He was one of several villains to Tom Terrific, in a cartoon shown on the original Captain Kangaroo show.
Hm. Gives him a lot more cred, being on CK. But I don't remember ever seeing him in the reruns, whereas I def remember Simon from my beloved Underdog. So my vote's still for Simon.

(btb, is it sad, scary, or sweet that I can STILL sing all the words to Underdog's opening theme?)

I remember Tom Terrific, but I did not remember that his cartoon was on the Captain 'Roo show. I remember the train set that brought the cereal, Mr Green Jeans and that rabbit puppet behind the counter. I think the rabbit wore eye glasses.
