HI, I have been here for about a few days helping a lot of you two strokers out there I own a vintage 1987 PGO Star 50cc 846 MILES my pride and joy who is very rare, although I don't have to worry of anyone stealing this because its so old when she tanks I am the only and second owner who has never gave up on her. Cheers anyone need any vintage two stroke help I am able to trace parts considering during 1982-87 PGO used others parts as rebadge from Yamaha, Honda, and Kymco with a hint of sym. Here's the story, my scooter was owned for 29 years by the orginal first top 81 vespa dealers in USA, out of those 29 years it have slept for 18 of those 29 years. All pristine I've f'ed up a few times, spent countless hours researching but I know everything there is to know about it. She never had a manual, (not available anywhere) so I really had to over power my self to change the specs. Previously ran on the original top end it featured a 40mm x 39.3 dished piston but has been converted to 40mm x 39.2 dome top piston which provides more low end speed and ran rich at idle only. It may not be perfect, may need a smaller piolet, but she runs and I love her she is possibly the only scooter designed as a 50cc meant to carry auto parts and over 80lbs worth of tools. For the record I am a mobile mechanic who operates off his scooter hahaha interesting enough as it sounds auto is as easy as throwing fairy dust to me. But my 2 stroke I went hard for it, title repairs, and all gone all out. Couple days til tabs so I can finally drive her home away from his other home. Here is a photo last time I cleaned her up.
