Indeed so i took the whole carb off and what im gonna do is take the float needle out of this one and put it in my old carb thats all im gonna do and with the old carb i am going to start with 2 1/2 turns on the a/f screw and see what happens there.

Seeing the scooter ran good with the old carb i think i should be in ok shape idk i sure hope so this thing has been giving me all kinds of .

In my video what would cause my scooter to die out like that?

WHO EVER TOLD YOU TO PUT THAT IN IS A COMPLETE IGNORANT A* and you should woop the dog piss out of them 2 stroke oil only for 2 strokes and 4 for 4 strokes the oil your using will gum the dog piss out the thing causing stuck rings and will cause your exhaust become blocked.

Drain that out IMMEDIATELY! IF ITS 2 STROKE RUN PREMIX TO BLEED THE FRESH OIL IN THE SYSTEM WHEN SHE STOPS RUNNING AND YOU SEE THE AIRS OUT THE LINES if you have a vaccum pump skip what I said and pump the oil to the tip.

Next, add the manual petcock inline after the petcocks drilled out.

Sorry but I'm saving you grief don't F*** up the work.
Motor oil is a last resort to get home fix. Never ad more then enough for your trip home to put proper oil in it.

Don't pass 1 1/8 starting point you might make it fire to high rpm and blow the block. Having sploog is better then having it ramming its eyeballs out.

Take your time remember1/8 a turn at at time. Throttle should always return back to idle instantly after you snap the throttle. If it bogs (ITS WRONG) IF IT GOES UP AND IDLES DOWN SLOWLY (BETT YOUR CRANK ITS STILL WRONG)

I WILL NOT AND REFUSE TO LET YOU F THAT SCOOT UP

MY SCOOTER IS EVERYTHING COMING from a OK ford 90s guy I use to laugh at scooter drivers now I am in the opposit team let me show you my baby, which is your scooters cousin/grand daddy from across the way (Taiwan) last of her kind all them needle Jim's gave up on her I refused.

If I had even the slightest slip up there is NO cylinder that can take its place on the cheap NOS parts cost a grip to even one close to fitment. The only other oil you can use temporarily is valvoline 2 cycle mult purpose oil, won't burn as good but prevents ashing and gum.

Ok so update. Took the "new carb" i bought back off the scooter and cleaned out my old carb very very very very good, and put that back ont he scooter....this is why.

The "new carb" everything was to big and what i mean is the main jet was bigger the a/f screw was bigger the needle in the diaphragm was bigger everything no wonder my scooter was running like .

But old carb cleaned back on scooter runs fantastic only thing when i first first take off i have a slight i mean slight slight delay before it takes off it wants to bog just a bit bit low would that be to lean or rich at idle/take off, still working with a/f screw as it goes.

Last where can i get this 4 stroke oil any part store?

Autozone 4 stroke motorcycle oil your air fuel mixture is still wrong should not bog at all I have upgraded from dish top 80s piston to dome top 90s to 2k piston previous specs where 40mm x39.3 dish to 40mm x 39.2 dome top. My idle is pretty high but no bog 1.5 - 2k @ idle goes 40 on rev limiter 52 without rev limiter. When I get my endo gonna have the cops dymo it for me with old lic bate.

I died for my scooter and brought her back from 18 years heated garage sleep. So old manuals dont exist because my scooter is older than current products being made by PGO through genuine. all them az people trip one dude called my scoot a polished turd, yeap well at least i know about mine and how to fix it off of good old knowledge i know about a lot of brands now.
if you have any issues after correctly tuning the air fuel mixture on a (HOT) engine after your sure the idle is the highest with a snap back throttle return instantly pul your plug.

my scoots built like a race model that dish top incresed compression and idle ratio. my timing has also been moved up so it actually runs cooler then expected the heat transfer to the pipes goes about half way tthe intake working on installing upgraded exhaust but for now im just going to sand nd repaint my exhust or possiably gut her open, repack her and add some new internal/mods like cutting out the factory tip and add a slightly bigger exit port on the muffler.

shes bad , wifs getting my new tabs and plats she sees that i really have changed a lot and want nothing to do with trucks no more.

anyway keep up the good work, 2 stroke is based of user prefection.

i have to upgrade my boddy a little bit in the front she has a flat bird chest and needs a nose like the newer scoots.
