Hey guys, i'm planning on replacing air intake on my recently bought 150cc adventure scooter. The reason i'd doing it is because it seems to seep air and scoot takes longer to accelerate(plus i'm not a fan of under the seat box air intake). I come to you to ask for help in what i should buy and what size jets to rejet my carb to. Also what to do with extra hoses from the original airbox. I highly appreciate your help and hope to hear some recommendations. Attachments:

My Xingyue Eagle never would run well with the underseat air system.I tried EVERYTHING and found my particular problem was that my engine wouldn't run right with ANYTHING much on the carb mouth. I finally had success with the UNI-"sock" filter. It required a slightly richer main jet, and has run great now for nearly five years! Here's how it went on mine. It DOES take some abuse from flexing, but whithout reversing the carb, I have found NO other setup that runs right. Even if you ride a lot, and must replace the filter each season due to wear and tear, it's worth it... All these scooters are different, and what works for one may not work for another. I'd try removing the entire filter system and test-drive with no filter. A little running sans-filter should'nt hurt. If it runs well witn NO air-filter, go with the UNI. Then, if it's too lean, just change the main jet. It's easy. Hope this may help. Leo in Texas
