I started this thread on the old site, and just thought it was worth a follow-up here for any new members.
In this thread I raised the problem I was having with the scoot when the temps went below 20 degrees. The scoot sputtered away and never really seemed to warm up.

The common response was that at some point your mixture gets too lean in the cold, and as per the advice, I gave the carb a 1/3 turn out. That did it and I've had no further cold weather riding problems.
