My cooling fan stop working so I took it out and and found a rock stuck through the guard just for enough to stop the fan. I pulled the fan out and and cleaned it up and put it back in. I ran the scooter and the fan still did not come on . I looked for fuses but did not find any where would I look next. JR, Doug, JerryScript, skuttadawg, JoeyBee, earlwb,

Does the fan turn with slight resistance now? If not, the connection at the bearing may be shot.

When I had the fan off I put 12 volt to it and it ran but on the scooter it will not so I though a fuse was blown but I do not find a fuse.

I hook the fan up direct with a switch and it runs but the hot light still comes on with the fan running so is there a thermostat and if so where would it be and how do you get to it.
