So, my nephew learned an expensive lesson this past Monday. He thought it was good enough to park his scooter at school next to an administrator's car under a couple of cameras without a lock. Turns out he was wrong, and his scooter got stolen. So today, I took him to my local dealer, and bought him a new Icebear PMZ50-4J. He's going to have to make payments to me for the next year to pay it off with his part time job as a karate instructor, good lessons that hopefully he will take to heart: lock your scooter and make your payments on time! We got a good deal, $700 + $200 for the BBK+installation and service plan. He went with the burgundy color, which I think looks very nice. Here's a few pics: Unboxing and assembly Front and side views:

Sorry your nef had to learn the hard lesson. Big bummer. His new scoot looks nice.
I hope the second stop after getting the bike was to buy a chain and lock!

While chains are only to slow down the stealing go on e bay and get a alarm at least while someone is trying to get chain off the alarm will be attraction with all the noise it will be making. While nothing is sure proof it may help just one more link in security.

Heavy chain will stop the average student though. Which is who I'd bet stole the other bike.

'Cause then you don't need to worry about alarms and chains. Just let your scootie defend itself.
