Much like a Rotary engine this is an interesting take on the internal combustion engine.....
Very cool engineering involved along with inovative ideas...
The cost of replacement parts and ease of working on this engine maybe it's downfall.....
A working demo with compressed air is not the same as a daily driver.
"general public" use is years away but, still a neat design.....

There is a lot of research being done these days on "Valveless Engines" for the purpose of generating electric power in cars. The spherical engines are really strange and contain a quarter of the parts of a comparable conventional Internal Combustion engine.

Indeed,
This little MYT engine is an interesting design... other than that,
It's still just a more efficient internernal combustion engine in theory.
Something completely different is just around the corner....
Or maybe in 20 years, nobody will drive anymore. Just hop in a Google/Apple car..........
