No, it's a CVK. Kehein(sp) clone carb. 2 stroke carbs are much different. It's a 4 stroke carb. Some people pump a little 2 stroke oil into their carbs for something that I don't quite understand. Pretty sure racers do it, maybe?
I put a different diaphragm in it with a smaller shaft, and it worked fine, aside from a moderate hesitation on takeoff from the shaft being too small. The carb would work fine, if the build quality was good, but it is junk. Just like the BBK that leaked compression like a window screen, that I ordered from him.
I will probably get some fine sand paper, and sand it down a bit, and get it to work. But, you should never have to do stuff like that on a carb.

The extra line is to put some 2 stroke oil into the mix. Some do it. I'm not quite sure why. I think racers do it.
It runs rough because the carb is junk. The diaphragm fits too tight in the bore, and it won't open the needle valve when you open the butterfly. You can hold it at half throttle to get going fast enough to get enough vacuum to open it, but it's just not good quality. I put the slightly smaller diaphragm from my other carb in it, and it worked fine, sans the slight hesitation on takeoff from the diaphragm not fitting properly. Second time I've bought stuff from this guy....second time it has failed. Some people never learn. I would be one of those people.
Moral of the story: you can't get caviar at Spam prices.

I am a hypocrite. I have lectured people on here about buying cheap crap on ebay, and then expecting it to be worth a crap. I refuse to install cheap ebay crap on my customers' scoots. Yet, I buy cheap crap and try to get it to work on my scoot. I'm an idiot.
For those of you working on your scoots: buy from one of the banner ads up top, such as John(TVNACMAN), Scrappydogs, or, if you like the ease of ordering off of ebay; order from Scooters-to-go, or GY6Racingteam. Between those 4 guys, you can find any part you need, and it is good quality stuff. ESPECIALLY if you are installing a big bore kit. Don't buy one of those cheapos! There are people that have used them with success, but it is a roll of the dice, and it's not worth it. If you hold a $30 big bore ebay cylinder next to one from those 4 guys I mentioned, the quality difference is HUGE. Pay a little bit more, and have some peace of mind. I can't believe I was dumb enough to make this mistake again. I understand money is an issue for us at times, but you can't afford to buy something that won't work!
