Ok time to 'fess up. You swapped out a Honda motor in your scoot. DON"T DENY IT! (Your nosey neighbors reported seeing you and the UPS guy roll it into your house in the middle of the night.)

No such thing, all Chinese with the Linhai 257cc engine in the scooter. But the original trunk box on the back fell apart and I replaced it with a Pelican Box. It has gone through several tires though.
Yes there were many oil changes too.

Ok, I'm sorry, I made a mistake. So you swapped out a YAMAHA motor? ;D (Cause EVERYBODY KNOWS you can't go more the 50 miles on a Chinese scoot.)

Nice tour... My parents used to live in Pittsburgh... And the next time you are passing through Quitman, I can point you to an excellent Mexican restaurant; Peralta's (sp?) built in an old house a couple of blocks down from the courthouse. Excellent stuffed poblano. In Sulphur Springs, try Los Mochis in the outlet mall shopping center; my favorite place by far. My favorite fajita beef chimichanga. Also, I can't belive you admitted to driving through Quinlan...

You went all the way to Pitsburg and there's no pic of Bo Pilgrim's head?
(Which has to be the most grotesque "statue" ever...)

Well I did not do much of anything to the scooter. It has a electric fuel pump which replaced the pulse pump. I put in more lightweight variator roller weights to give it better acceleration and hill climbing. I changed out the air filter to use a K&N type of air filter but kept it inside of the air filter box. Of course I had to replace the trunk box as it was falling apart after a while. It has gone through a few tires too, and oh yeah I put in bolt on tire valves in place of the unsafe junk rubber tire valves. I did put on a new CV drive belt too.
But the engine is the stock 257cc Linhai Chinese copy of a Yamaha engine. Roketa made two versions of this scooter, one with a copy of the Honda 244cc engine and the other with the copy of a Yamaha 257cc engine. I did not swap out any engines. You have mixed me up with someone else.

That looks like fun. Let us know if any of the towns were dry.
