Hi everyone!
So, I was in need of a way to get back up river after floating in the kayak and I thought, "Why don't I throw a scooter on the kayak trailer to avoid having to take two cars/trucks?" I would just hide the scooter in the woods where I'd be taking out of the river. But, a brightly colored scooter could be easily spotted. So, I wrapped a cheap $200.00 scooter in Gore-Tex Camo fabric! The fabric was cut from military surplus bivy sacks that I had. Obviously, a lot of broken plastics were removed, longer shock installed, installed LED trailer lights for tail lights, and a fog light from a truck for the head light. This thing has been absolutely stripped of non-essential parts including a lot of plastic. This thing is extremely light and easy to throw on the trailer... not to mention pretty quick for it being mostly stock (got pulled over for going 49MPH by a county brownie, 25MPH speed limit for 49cc scoots in Indiana last year... now 35MPH is law). This is my prototype and I plan on building a better one from the ground up using nearly the same design and better components. What do you all think so far?
