Which one would you choose, if the price is the same?

I see that you are in Costa Rica. In the US, I would go honda, mostly for parts availability, since I'm not sure that the Suzuki was sold here. If it was popular in Costa Rica, then my choice would be based on milage and condition. If new, either should be very dependable.. See? no help at all..

Both brands and models are common here, is the Honda Elite common over there? US parts availability is important to me as well, because over here most dealerships don't carry a big inventory and put things on backorder constantly, so I can see myself buying parts online from the US, I do it all the time with my car and Chinese scooter

Looks like a 4 year run on the honda elite 125-150 in the US. Lots of parts available on Ebay. Biggest change in the run was the size increase from 125 to 150, so most parts should be interchangable.. From what I can find, the engine was watercooled, and unique to the honda elite series. Seems to be very little AN125 listings on Ebay. After looking into these a bit, unless the price was good and I was handy with a bit of DIY work, I think I would look around for something using a more modern GY6 engine.. Hope it helps...

Can't advise you re: mechanics of either. Personally, I like the Elite's looks over the Suzi's. Although the newer Suzi's aren't quite so dreadful to my eye. But then, the newer Elites are a lot smoother, too.
Sorry, probably not much help here, am I.
