I had a member the other day ask me about the Proboards Apps thing with his phone and I just got a answer from them and this is the problem:
I have noticed that the app does not seem to be loading some v4 forums properly at the moment, seems to be an issue mostly over 3G. I'll be doing some tests and will bring the findings up to our developers to look into further.
So they are working on it and hopefully for those of you that are having trouble it'll get better.
