My problem is when i put the valve cover back on it makes a clacking noise. I thought it was my belt at first but when i take the valve cover off it doesnt make the noise anymore. The exhaust valve isnt opening and i dont have any compression. I dont have any bent valves, because if i was to take the valve cover off and turn the engine over i have compression. I dont know what the problem is, i have tried another valve cover that didnt help.
Could it be the camshaft?
