i have a 2007 Leike scooter. model is lk150t-7. however it says motobravo and phantom on it so i got super confused. vin # says its a leike. im trying to find parts for it right now and cannot find anything either cause im confused with the information i have or im a complete noob when it comes to scooters. i am located in Garden Grove California, so if someone is around there and know a parts place, that would be nice, or a site that i can find parts.
i am currently looking for spark plugs, oil filter, and an idle up solenoid. can you guys help me? treat me as completely new to this so any information would be helpful.

First, Welcome to itistheride! Second, welcome to the world of chinese scooters! Engine parts are not a problem. Look at the number printed on the left side of your engine. There are only a few kinds of gy6 engines. Parts, for the most part, are compatible between them. That will take care of the parts you are looking for. Body Parts such as: frame, plastics, steering, wheels, etc, vary model to model. The best thing here is to go to all of the parts websites and start matching your scooter to others by looks. Recently, I was looking for a triple tree for my scoot, a 2013, and could not find an exact match. I found one that was close enough to work, but the Chinese sometimes produce one offs for each and every scooter model. In those cases, you have to use some good old Chinese-reengineering to make something work. Some scooters have a dozen or more model names under different manufacturers. You will have to get with Google and figure some of it out for yourself if you should need them. If you post a picture of your scooter, someone in the forum might recognize the general scooter-type. leikemotor.en.made-in-china.com/product/TbOmeswySEhK/China-EEC-Scooter-LK150T-7-.html&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=8hkbVYCnH9LZsAT12IGwAw&ved=0CAoQ_AUoBA&biw=1169&bih=724" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.google.com/search?q=lk150t-7&es_sm=&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=8hkbVYCnH9LZsAT12IGwAw&ved=0CAoQ_AUoBA&biw=1169&bih=724p.s. The oil filter is a little screen that come out that you clean when you change your oil! All gy6 scoots have the same spark plug. I am not sure what an idle-up solenoid is....

Yes, GY6 is the engine. For the 150cc, there is a long case and a short case. Should be on the right hand side of the engine. It's hard to tell body style from those pics. Its easier to look at the overall bike. Regardless, the engine parts are pretty much the same.
If I were you, I would: drain any old gasoline that might still be in there and toss, change plug, change engine oil, change transmission oil, check air filter. MAYBE changed the drive belt (I would do this anyway, and store the old belt under the seat for backup), clean the carb(if fuel sat up in it, it could be clogged), change fuel lines, and adjust the valves (good idea to do this anyway). If you still have the round fuse, change the fuse to a bladed type fuse that they use in cars. Inspect the tires. A new battery is probably in order... get a battery tender (chromebattery.com has a $13 tender that I have been using) to keep it in shape when you are not riding the scooter.
Later on, examine your vacuum lines, and determine what kind of emissions that you have on your bike and if you might want to simplify things a bit ( I removed my EGR and evap system, not checked in my area, and it cleaned up the engine compartment nicely). Change brake fluid/bleed brakes.
That ought to get you cleaned up and ready to ride assuming everything else is okay on the scoot. I also installed a 12V accessory port to run 12V devices and to have easy charging access for my battery.
Remember that every rubber piece on your bike is 8 years old, and probably wasn't especially high quality to begin with.

your engine code is located near the kick start (below) 157QMJ is the code of that engine. spark plug; i use NGK CR7HIX, you can go with CR7HSA if you want to save a few bucks. idle up solenoid; i had to search this. if you're having idle problems refer to alleyoop's carb tuning threads. itistheride.boards.net/thread/12/4ts-carb-tuning

I never noticed that one. On my scoot, it is on the underside near the center stand. My scoot also has a plate riveted to the fan shroud that give the engine info.

so when is it necessary to replace that metal mesh oil filter? When it melts and warps, and sometimes even then you can just reform it and keep using it. They aren't really considered a consumable part. I've only had my filter warp once, from an entire 16 hours of driving with no breaks, and I was able to reform it and reuse it later. Could you clarify what you mean by "idle up solenoid" because those are 2 different things you are saying there, so it is confusing to some of us who know the lingo and can't place what you may be talking about.

From his first post and the pics of the bike, I'd estimate that he wandered on a good deal and is just trying to get it started and was either told this or just doesn't know. There's an "idle screw" and a "starter solenoid" but better question is "what does it do when you try to start it?".

so when is it necessary to replace that metal mesh oil filter? should be good for the life of the scoot. really isn't much of a filter which is why they recommend oil change every 1000km. some won't even go that long. regular oil changes is the most important for long engine life imo.

I second this, I mean at this point I believe kupo does not know enough terminology and the person he got it from may have been new to it as well. If we could get a pic of what you are asking for, or tell us what makes you think you need an "idle up solenoid" that may help a lot. Also, does it start? What does it do when it starts?

alright guys, thank you very much for your help, i found out it was the auto enricher. i was wondering if anyone lives in garden grove cali that knows where you can get that locally? or where i can find it? and still not sure where i can look up my engine code but can i just search up GY6 150cc auto choke/enricher and use any of them even though they say different engine codes?
