Hm. Windmills inspired attacks from Don Quixote. A lighthouse inspired unrequited love and rampaging from a Beast from 20,000 Fathoms.
Hm. Sounds like both are pretty equally macho. Hm.

Gotta go with the lighthouse!
My Missus is from Portland, Maine... LOL! Anyway, lighthouses absolutely MUST work 100% ALL the time, or ships and entire crews and cargo could be lost. THAT is pretty MACHO in my book...
I think the folks who man the lighthouses must be pretty macho too... It's a lonely life, filled with major responsibility.

More thought--
Dick Van Dyke and his kids lived in a windmill in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Helen Reddy and her dad (Mickey Rooney) lived in a lighthouse in Pete's Dragon.
Hm. Still pretty equal there. Hm....

Lighthouse. It guides in the macho men to port from over the briny deep. As always. I'm amazed at 'Kat's, mastery of movie trivia.

I obviously watched far too much tv in my formative years, back when non-network stations would show all sorts of family movies. And if it's Disney, then you really don't want to go trivia contest against me. I sometimes think having a million channels isn't a good thing. Seems I had far better viewing options when I was little, compared to kids today. Sigh. Meanwhile, here's another lighthouse movie--Day of the Triffids. And I've run out of windmills, except seems there's a Doctor Who ep with one? But then there's another ep with a lighthouse, so that's a wash. And didn't The Prisoner have a windmill in an ep? Guess I'll have to go lighthouse here. >'Kat
