Those Germans seem to be very precise about some things.

Nickname might be something more like Giddy-Ape (sounds like - giddy ah pay) which I think is Italian for Giddyup. (hope I haven't offended any Europeans) With probably only a 50cc motor, I think the tendency would be to go to the whip if it were a pony... but its not so they would just have it WOT and be blowin on the windshield trying to get it to go...................... faster if at all possible.
