I will admit, I've never seen PS live.
But I did get to see YB in the King and I. We were almost very last row in the top balcony. All the action on stage was to our left. Then every single head (including mine) whipped right, 'cause YB had just stepped onto the stage. That man had phenomenal charisma and presence!

Yul. He was Pharaoh and Patrick Stewart was only a captain.

Yul was also Taras Bulba, a Cossack. You can't get more macho than a Cossack -- we ride without armor:

Yul was Russian born. He didn't need warp speed.

Neither,, I say George The Animal Steele. It looks like the only bald place he has is on the top of his head.

Uh, spandi, uh, don't know how to break this to you gently, but PS was Pharaoh in "Prince of Egypt." Or at least his voice was. Not quite the same thing though.
YB WAS Pharaoh. You watch Ten Commandments and you don't doubt he really was Pharaoh, rather than an actor portraying the role of Pharaoh.
Hm. Which one's higher, Pharaoh of Egypt or King of Siam?
Wasn't YB in the Magnificent Seven, too?

He was Terminating before Terminating was cool too! DEFINITELY! ... and, straining my old brain back to the late 1950's, I'm pretty sure good old Yul was THE inspiration for the original "Mr. Clean" character. Yup... Gotta be!
