75MPH at 7500RPMS on the highway, I didn't want to push it more because it got scary and didn't want to blow the engine, but I think it could've reached 80MPH , never thought it was possible to keep up with traffic on the fast lane with a 125cc scooter. The thing got shaky at 70MPH and I had to duck a little to cut the wind and not get knocked off the scoot. The modifications I've done so far are 12g sliders, removed the air box, Gates kevlar belt, Racing CDI (the blue one), and the orange racing coil; I will change the clutch springs and get a new muffler next.

Ricardoguitars,
7,500 rpm should be right in your engine's "sweet-spot". If you're showing an indicated 75 mph, you're probably doing an actual 65-70 mph (which is STILL fantastic). If your doing a true 75, you've got a ROCKET of a 125! Either way, NICE GOING!
It's GREAT to get a 125-150 to run highway speeds, ESPECIALLY at less than 8,000 rpm! Sounds like you have the ideal slider/CVT setup, and have your engine running to the max. My water-cooled 250 would have to be at her "A-Game" to top your performance! Have a bone from the Old Chopper Guy!
Please do keep us posted!

You're right, i don't think the speedo is very accurate, I will mesure it next time with my GPS's speedo and see how much it reads
