Hello from Alabama. I just bought a TaoTao ATM 50, at least I think that is the model. 2013 model with 230 miles on it for $395. It runs great and I'm looking for to learning more about it. It is going to be a Christmas gift for my 14 year old daughter.

howdy and welcome to the forum. do you have the knowledge to instruct her regarding how to safely operate the scooter? many will probably jump in and suggest strongly that you invest in all the safety gear because as a new rider she WILL spill it at some point and we would not like to see a thread about injuries to her and need for repairs to the scooter. that said---

Yes I can teach her. I've had a couple of dirt bikes so I know how to ride. She's started on a Suzuki LT50 when she was three. She had a big electric sit down scooter that she rode around the neighborhood for a couple of years. She is a natural when it comes to anything with wheels.
