Just purchased a new 200cc GY6 scoot and am looking forward to diving in to the world of Chinese scooters. This and other forums have been great in my education on what to expect, what to replace, how to repair and am looking forward to many years of fun!
Already went nuts and bought a lot of replacement parts, upgrades and even a EFI. And cause I'm concerned about night time visibility, even bought a set of LED pods to light it up...
I'm 57 and it's like getting a new toy for Christmas!
It will be here Monday, 10-20-14 and can't wait to rip it apart and put it back together... For safety reasons and just because I'm the type that has to know how it's put together... LOL
Would be great to find other people with scoots in the area to connect with.

Also, I am a web designer and since this scooter will be a big part of my life (my main mode of transportation) I just registered mychinesescooter.info and am going to create a directory style site where people can find links and info relating to every about chinese scooters (like this valuable site) and if anyone wants to give input of what they would like to see, please send it to me on here... I'll also be posting about my experiences with the scooter (blog style).
