Hey Folks ! This is my first post in this forum. I am from India !!! I am 13 years old and I have much interest in Scooters and Bikes. I came here just to know technical things and get help for solving my scooter's issues. I have Kinetic Honda scooter. Popularly known as Honda Kinetic NH series. But the scooter i have is Kinetic Honda ZX 100 CC or Honda Kinetic NH100. Both are same. I am enjoying my stay here!

Chomper,
Welcome to the site! I do believe you may live in "Scooter Heaven" there in India! It seems like your country stuck with the scooter when the rest of the world was leaving it behind... Now, not only scooters, but even Harley Davidsons are coming from India!
You've come to the right place here... There are scooter enthusiasts knowledgeable in most every type willing to give friendly advice. And this site REALLY does cater to EVERY age! You're one of the younger ones, and I'm one of the older ones... I rode my first Harley when I was 13... I'll be 68 next month, and I still love anything on 2 wheels.
Old age and arthritis finally got me off big bikes, and back to scooters, and I'll probably stick with scooters from now on. Enjoy your ride... and RIDE SAFE!

Welcome to the forum Chomper! Here you'll find many answers to your questions. BTW, India has a long history of scooting, from taking over the production of the Lambretta in the 1970's to making todays Genuine scooters!

Thank you all! Here in India, there are many scooters from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Vespa, etc but none of them have a scooter above 125 cc. Very bored here.

Welcome, Chomper - How could you not mention Mahindra? They have several scooter models in the India market.

But Mahindra faces a big failure. Their engines neither gives good FE nor good power which Indians want but they have many features like all digital console, 22 LTS underseat storage with lighting, etc.

I was sad to see Bajaj no longer makes scooters, only MCs. Do you know why they got out of the business?

They wanted to be a bike only manufacturer, Piaggio Vespa has already planned to enter so no vespa like styling on Bajaj scooters and Honda was (and still) the leader of the Indian Market in scooters. These factors made Bajaj scooters to suicide itself.
