Gotta say slide rule 'cause my Dad had one. Grew up playing with it, with no idea what it was. I wonder where it ended up?

Besides, you even find some SWORDS with an abacus in the hilt... If a warrior needed a "calculator" to add up all his (or her) kills... Well... THAT is MACHO!
Or, maybe just primitive "multi-tasking"...
