I was reading the Complete Idiot's Guide to Motor Scooters and it mentioned that there was two-stroke oil that came in fragrances. Berry scented and things like that. Being the owner of a two-stroke, I figured that sounds kind of fun so I started googling and came upon something called "fuel fragrance" that you mix with your gasoline. It'll work on four-stroke too... Doesn't work if your vehicle has a catalytic converter though. Has anyone tried this stuff before? Any opinions? I'm somewhat considering using this in my tank... While wearing this... If they didn't see me before, they will get a whiff of the banana fumes. Then they will be alert. Their focus will be drawn to me. They will be looking for bananas and then they will find them. A 5'11" banana riding a little yellow scooter. High-Vis achieved. I'd have to fit a DOT approved helmet into that banana suit though.

Skunk, you absolutely MUST post a pic of yourself on your scoonana! Please! And make it so we can smell you, too!
You are just too too funny!

I have some of that stuff, but I haven't tried it in anything yet. I was going to see what it did when used in a radio control model airplane gas engine.

SylvreKat - If I end up riding around in a banana suit, I'll be sure to post pics . earlwb - That's cool. I wonder what kind of range you get if the scent is released up in the air. I hope this isn't something that will bother someone who has a sensitivity to strong smells.

Nope, I think the fragrance is fairly mild, so it doesn't really offend much if any. I plan on putting a little into the fuel tank of my trimmer engine to see what happens. Maybe my lawnmower too.

I brought home some Mexican dinner for my cat... After enjoying it, he released a new fragrance... Does THAT scented exhaust count? LOL! I dunno, scented exhaust SOUNDS sorta "strange" but then, nitro and castor-oil exhaust is mighty SWEET to old guys... You may be onto something!Unlike most of what the government does, THIS stuff SHOULD pass "the smell-test"...Ride safe, ride fragrant... Leo in Texas

There's a company here that collects old fryer oil from restaurants to convert to diesel. Some people swear the exhaust smells like french fries. Hmmm, do they have a ketchup fuel fragrance to use with french fried diesel?

Leo, does that count as scented exhaust? Probably, but not one I'd want. My old hound, she would have gas, then very subtly slide over from where she was sitting, then GLARE at me and Mom like one of us had the gas. Never understood this, it's not like we scolded her or anything (like, dogs can control gas?) But boy was it funny! Jerry, funny! Skunk, how's that banana suit coming? >'Kat

You should live up to your name and get the Pepe Le Pew fragrance and drive around in a skunk suit. But if do drive like around like a banana, just be careful, things could get a bit "slippery"!
