So, after giving my scoot a tune up, which included valve adjustment, changing fluids, and adjusting the air/fuel mixture I went for a ride. After about 2 miles of riding and at full throttle this is what happened to the spark plug. The starter turns, but it doesn't feel like it's engaging anything. Any ideas are welcomed, and appreciated. I'm not sure what to do next. This is a 150cc yy150t-12 Shenke scooter, and has 4500 trouble free miles, until now. Attachments:

yeah looks like to hot of a plug or you ran very lean but your rings are probably toast also try turning the kick start over by hand and see if there is any resistance

No kickstarter. That fell off when I was changing the belt, and I never could get it back on right. So, I just went and bought a good battery. Any other ways I can check it?

Ok, the flywheel won't spin, so I'm guessing the engine is seized. Hmm, not good I take it.

ok, so can you briefly let me know what the difficulty level is to do something like that? 1-10. And what parts I need and a rough $ amount? Is this a good time to do a BBK? If I'm in there I want to make it better.

its not bad just take your time, if its your main transport get a good kit, like a hoca or ncy scrappy has some kits they are good quality also.

all depends on the person i would 6-7 for the first timer, scrappy has a top end kit minus the head. cylinder, pistion and rings and gasket if your head is fine about the 11 th picture down but first i would reccomend you pull the head and cylinder off yours and check them out before ordering anything www.scrappydogscooters.com/125_150_4-STROKE_PARTS.html

i prefer to replace the cylinder and piston, sometimes even though the kit says its the same size the pistons differ slightly and it doesn't work

Thank you for all your help. I was looking at the $49.00 one at scrappy's. So, what your saying is that's all I need? The scoot is not my only vehicle so I can take it slow, and do it right. I'm not sure if you read my updated post, but I was also inquiring about doing a BBK. Since I'll be in there? Or, would the kit from scrappy's be more straight forward?
