If it exceeds the cost of your deductible its too much then. Personally I use the locks that came on the bike occasionally and nothing else.

Better than all the locks is just put a cover over it. I've had 2 Tomos STs, an '03 and an '05. '03 got stolen, replaced it with the '05, then sold it and bought a 1980 Puch Maxi ZA50 2 speed.

Hey, that amount of locks does sound like overkill to me. It would be a hassle just to carry them around. Those are all the locks I plan on using at night. I'll be taking the alarm chain and the Max- U-lock with me when I go places.

I purchased a Dowco Guardian Scooter Cover already. Damn thing cost me $53. I use the Dowco cover with the optional alarm for it (and cable lock around the bottom.) The Beast chain and lock, a wheel lock, GPS tracker and alarm. I would much rather take some extra time to secure my scoot than have it stolen. (even if insurance paid back for every penny of loss it still isn't worth it to me.)
