When I visited JR last July he showed me the GIVI windshields that he has on his and his wife's scooters. When we got to where we thought we would be long enough for it to arrive before or while we would be there I ordered one from the place with the best price. That was late August. Immediately got an email saying they would ship it as soon as it arrived. When I checked other sellers, they were out of stock. I told them to call me when they got it and I would give them the current address. Last update said they were promised by GIVI they would have it Jan. 14, 2014 but GIVI had promised several delivery dates before that did not happen. Searching the internet I ran across this windshield that is 5 inches taller than the standard Reflex windshield. The GIVI in 2 inches taller. www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0&_nkw=HONDA+NSS250+REFLEX+2001-2006+28%22+TALL%2C+15%22+WIDE%2C+CLEAR+WINDSHIELD&_sacat=0&_from=R40I ordered it Monday the 16th (a birthday present to myself) and it came today. I went for a short ride and WOW what a difference, almost NO wind noise in my helmet. It is not only 5 inches taller but significantly wider. I'll take a picture tomorrow and post it.

I also recently added a windshield to my scooter, and am very happy with the results. I got the small universal windshield, though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I really can't say don't get one since it's working quite good for me!
A few weeks ago, we had rain for three days straight, an extremely rare occurence here in Vegas. Luckily, this was only a week after I installed the windshield. Thanks to the scooter's front design, the addition of a windshield made it like riding a motorcycle with a full fairing (like my old Honda CB550F). The only part of me that was wet after a few 15 minute rides was my helmet, and I imagine with a taller windshield like you have, even it would have been dry. The next week was the cold snap everyone in the US recently experienced, and even here in Vegas the highs were in the upper 30's. With the windshield and appropriate layers of gear, I'm getting around warm and comfy (except my hands, but have handguards on order)!
I'll probably remove the windshield in the summer, but it is proving to be the best purchase I've made this winter! Now if my handguards would just arrive from China, even with gloves my hands get cold!
