Ok it's not a scooter exactly but I have 32,000 on a 83 Honda. No trouble ever. 5000 of those are mine in the last 2.5 months.

I have a Stella 2T, a Yamaha Zuma 125, and a Yamaha Vino 125. The Vino 125 is a bit of a project at the moment.

aprilia 250 sportcity. 10000 mi in 2 years and not a bit of trouble. 85mph and 70 mpg, beat that. One blog said they change the oil every 800 mi. Manufacture recommendation for the sportcity is 6200 mi. My dealer uses only the best sythetics in the engine and drivetrain. I've been riding for 47 years, but this is my first scooter. My old hips won't let me throw a leg over a regular bike anymore. Next scooter will be a Piaggio BV 350, unless somebody comes out with a highly modified scooter. Did you know Kawasaki is coming out with a 300 cc scooter for the euro market. It is going o have a Kymco engine.
