It happens every year. We all stuff ourselves at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The girl in the clinic are always asking for a diet medication, it seems very few people want to do it the old fashion way of diet and exercise to get rid of the stuffing.
I just read a article in a Journal I get called "Clinical Adviser". They have a alternative medicine section and a piece was done on a diet supplement, Green Coffee Extract.
The author of the article referenced a couple studies that were done, these were double blind studies where some were given a placebo and some were given doses of the green coffee extract. The results were pretty good. In fact the results rivaled the popular weight loss medication of today. After two months people had lost an average of 5.7% of their weight. Studies I have seen in the past on the drug reported a average loss of 15 pounds. Added advantage was a drop in blood pressure, so if you have hypertension and need to drop some weight, it may be a good option. The cost was reported in the article to be from 20 - 30 dollars a month.
Of course if you have health problems you should run it by your doctor.

Doug...
I dunno... This year, I made it through Thanksgiving without any extra pounds (whoopee!). I'm tryin' for the same results at Christmas. I FINALLY figured out the best exercise to lose weight is to push yourself away from the dinner table... LOL!
Riders keep in mind this season; "The best way to make your scooter FASTER is to make the rider LIGHTER..." Sage advice from the Old Chopper Guy... (and his jaw-dropping, lettuce-eating Vanna White look-alike daughter-in-law...) LOL! ...Remember: If it TASTES good, do NOT swallow it!
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR one and all!
Leo (where it's been below freezing, and the scoot's hunkered down under snow for TWO WEEKS!) in Texas... cheesh... it NEVER snows around Dallas... and it NEVER gets below freezing... mumble, mumble... gripe, grouse and complain... walk and drive the car...
