JR must live here. With the strong winds we're having today, those leaves sure are piling up in the corners!
And I was going to scoot to pay my bill this morn. Eh, maybe not.... Sigh.

Oh yeah, the 'back way' home for me is through a neighborhood jam packed full of huge oak trees. It's amazing how different one layer of leaves on the road is from two or more layers!!! And just wait till they get a little wet...

Leaves are just about all fallen off in my area and I'll remove this fall theme. So I'll let everyone guess the next one.

I wonder if there are even any leaves left on the trees after all the WIND and storms that blew threw here today, in Indiana (and many other places, too). I know they aren't around my front porch anymore, lol.

howdy and a bad news story to go with the leaves theme. here in the Portland area, we're burying a couple girls who were playing in a pile of leaves when an airhead decided to plow through it with her suv. she and her boyfriend who was riding with her, left and tried to repair the damage so they could be not found as the perpetrators of that carnage.

Oh ken that's so awful. Those poor girls. And worst of all the driver didn't just leave but tried to hide the evidence. I hope they make her rot a long time in jail. And her boyfriend needs some time there too, to think about helping her. Won't bring back those girls, but should make driver and boyfriend rethink actions like that.
That's why my brother doesn't let his girls play close to our street, even though we're semi-gated and we have very little traffic (and that, mostly neighbourhood residents). Never want to take the chance of something happening.
