This is not available for use as a bicycle helmet in the USA yet, I don't know if they have even submitted it for testing here, and it may never be available for scooter/motorcycle use. But it is an interesting comcept to say the least: Airbag Helmet -- How It Works |

Some might argue that a few of us already have one  Since i dont have to wear a helmet here i can wear whatever i wanted. I thought his head exploded lol! |

I dunno...
Maybe a good idea, but reminds me more of something the Washington DC moonbats who passed laws for SEAT-BELTS on MOTORCYCLES would like to mandate... Along with Jocelyn Elders' "safer bullets"... I can't wait to see the reaction to the first PBA pro-rodeo bull-rider to wear one!
Wonder if they'll be available in pink, with a "Hello-Kitty" character to appear when it blows up?
For now, I'll stick with my "skid-lid"...
