Hey folks! It has been a long while since I've stopped by. This past week I bought a Honda Reflex for the paltry some of $75. It needs a whole new body, rear brake caliper, and much TLC. The engine is good with around 13,000 miles. The bad part is that there is no title. I may jump thru hoops and try to get a title or I may just part it out for a good profit. I'll post pics later.

Hey Turtleracer,
That's NO turtle... LOL! Nice buy! Depending on your state, it may not be hard to title it. If it's not feasible to get a "lost title" you may be able to register it as a "home-made vehicle". There's always a way.
Sounds like the fix would be well worth it! The rear brake caliper is not a big deal, and, if you don't want to get all the plastics, you could do a custom "skelly" or "nekkid" scoot. A watercooled 250cc Ruckus type might be something really neat!
Anyway, good luck with it, and WELCOME to the forum!

Sounds like a great buy. No title sucks, though. I can't believe the number of bikes and boats and even motorhomes on craigslist around here that end with "Lost the title, but you can easily get one for around $15." Sometimes it's easy, most times it's hard. Of course, with that kind of a buy, you might be able to find one for cheap that needs a good engine..

You guys find the best deals!! By me they sell 5 year old used chinese scoots on craigslist for more money than it would cost to buy one brand new. Keep us updated on the resto.
