I am not familiar with your scoot, but I know that this was the replacement for the pathfinder. Here is a very very long thread about the pathfinder that might give you some insight in the event that the panel mechanics stayed the same and only the shape of the panels changed. Good luck. scootdawg.proboards.com/thread/30592

Thanks Mike; The body is not quite the same but I think that mine comes off all in one piece also since you cant get to the back screws of each side panel. The scooter is leaking a little oil and I think its coming from the air filter or the purge tube.

That is exactly how it looks but cant reach it from the bottom of bike and its not clear but the color of oil. If I was able to reach and unkink it I don't understand how that would stop it from leaking though.

it releases the positive crank case pressure into the air filter assembly . If the hose is kinked the pressure is not being released , it finds somewhere else to let the pressure out with oil . I had it on my scooter , after a ride remove the dipstick and it spits oil out . Remove the hose from the valve cover and blow in the hose , you should be able to blow through it easy if not its blocked .
Go to the right side of your scooter and look at the back side of the air box over the starter the hose connects to the air box .

John I think that's the problem but I still have not found out how to remove the body panels which I need to do to get at the problem. Trust me I would take you up on your offer to come to Middle Village for you to help me but that ride on my scooter is just too far for me. Any chance I could buy you lunch and pay for your gas to come over to Brooklyn to check out my scooter? I have a big garage we can work in and all the beer you can drink lol.

The owners manual the come with these scooters are very wrong and negligent, they even specify the wrong oil weights.
Just serviced my air filter. No need to remove body panels, very easy to do.
1. Remove cover under seat.
2. Remove the two 6mm canister support bolts on each side of the scooter; you can reach these bolts under the side panels, no need to remove panel.
3. Unbolt gas tank, and move toward back, out of the way; no need to drain, just disconnect small hose on top.
4. Disconnect hose clamp from carburetor throat.
5. Air filter canister can now come out from top; mark and disconnect hoes to it.
