That really sucks about getting hit, at all, let alone loosing body parts.
I know two guys who each lost a leg at the knee, each hit by drunk drivers while they were riding motorcycles.
Both have prosthetic and still ride today.
One was helping me load a trailer with hay, and I found out later or the next day that he had half a leg.
The other guy is here at work, and I only see him around occasionally. He has a slight limp but it is hart to guess which is which.
