Hey everyone,
Help, my scooter won't start. Bike is a 2012 Jonway YY150T-12, 4 stroke with 2800 miles. Bone stock except for advancing CDI installed maybe 1000 miles ago.
Rode 3 miles to the gym, came out after about an hour, and it wouldn't start. Nothing. Fuel gauge didn't work either. Nor turn signals. I attempted to kick start several times to no avail (although I have never attempted to kick start this bike before.)
Then I noticed the fuel gauge was suddenly working, so I tried starting it and voila! it fired right up. Rode it 3 miles home, turned it off, and... it won't start, like, for good this time apparently. Kick starting didn't work, No fuel gauge, signals don't work, etc. Headlight also doesn't work, but it's an AC CDI so the headlight won't work unless scoot is running anyway.
Some random things that may help to note: I checked the fuse at the battery and it's still good. I put the battery on the trickle charger and still signals etc won't work. I wiggled wires, etc, but no sign of life.
Also, I always use the engine cut off switch. I thought maybe the switch is going bad, but why would the fuel gauge and signals not work? It's like no juice is coming from the battery. Could it be the ignition switch? Just don't know. Glad it had one more trip in it or I'd still be stranded at the gym working out.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Aubry

It does seem like a loose connection an the main power line. Replace the fuse or test it with a meter Chinese fuses are known for their deceptive nature.

unplug the ignition switch and jump the red to the black . If things start to work then it is you ignition switch .
