The photo is mirrored. Exhaust usually is on the right, not left side. Exhaust is aluminum, good performance exhaust for a 150cc. It still has naked steel parts that will rust, but the muffler material is mainly aluminum and won't rust easily.
Don't know if it will get hot or not.

Don't know if it will get hot or not. I guarantee the exhaust will be hot... Well at least when the engine runs..

I mean, it's aluminum, and carries heat. I don't know if it gets any hotter than a standard steel muffler.

The ZNEN scoots are much better to begin with, but then distributors like us make even more changes and upgrades that really make the scooter worth the extra amount. For example, all Bintelli scooters have Duro Tires, NGK Spark Plugs, Gates Belts, Motobatt Batteries, and Stainless Steel Hardware. All of this saves money down the road because the name brand parts will last longer than the no name parts that the lower quality scooters use. For example, our Motobatt batteries that come standard will be replaced free of charge if for any reason that battery stops working within two years. When you compare that to how many times over two years the average person will replace their no name battery, that adds up quick. We also provide a year of roadside assistance and other perks of membership. Can avid users and members of this board make a Taotao last a long time? Of course... but to the average rider, a Taotao simply isn't the answer to keeping them happy.

You keep this up and you're going to give the present reputation of the Chinese product a "bad" name.

Wasn't there a guy with total engine failure on a GMW 2 weeks after warranty expiration that was left with no solutions. Where was Justin when that guy was in need? At least he made it in time for free advertising. Good form??

Engine failures happen from time to time, no matter what the brand. The key is standing behind the product and helping out your customers, something we take pride in doing. redroush00 has been asking good questions on the forum, trying to get to the bottom of the differences between the brands that are out there... something I hopefully shed some light on.

I was wondering if Bintelli and Gorilla were related. (other than being a Znen product?)

Ha! What a joke..... While it's true, Bintelli does produce a good scooter, the people who run it do not care about "after the sale" one bit. At least, that's how this Bintelli customer feels. I have contacted you personally on multiple occasions and instead of getting me the info I need, you refer me to your support form to which I've never even received a reply. I sent the same request, 4 times. Also, you have one manual for all your scooters. In addition to that, what's published on the website, differs from the material in the users manual. If anyone needs parts for their bintelli, you either go through the dealership you bought it from or you're SOL. Good luck getting ANY engine part numbers. None of their scooter Diagrams have any info about the engine. Bottom line for me is this... IMO, Bintelli does make a superior scooter to something like a TaoTao..... However the support aspect from the after-sale POV has left a very bitter taste and I expect even TaoTao would have better support for their customers than Bintelli.

To me, after the sale support is a VERY important part of any business realationship between the Retailer and the Customer and even more important between the Dealer and the Distributor/Manufacturer. The later is one of the main reasons I switched to Ice Bear, Pacific Rim Int'l West.

The OPs question was about the scooters, not the dealers. Yes, there are manufacturing differences that make some brands/models better than others. I can give you the example of my Znen vs my nephew's Rocketa and my employee's TaoTao, all purchased within two months of each other. My Znen is over a year old, and still almost looks brand new. My nephew's Rocketa is fading on all the black body panels, and my employee's TaoTao looks like it's several years old. My employee's TaoTao had the tinyiest battery I have ever seen, had to be replaced in the first three months, and he also had a catastrophic failure of the front wheel that resulted in a semi-serious wreck, and the need to replace the entire front end. My nephew has been taking his Rocketa to the dealership for all maintenance, and has needed a new carb (stock was sealed, non-adjustable), and several valve adjustments, as well as needed several tune-ups during the first three months (wear in was long on this particular scoot). My Znen has had the fuse go out, and the RR go bad (but that was due to my improper installation of a stereo).
Bottom line, I can go faster on my Znen, and the build quality after a year of hard riding still shows to be better than brand new TaoTaos.

dmartin95,
I'm sorry to hear you say that. We have replied to every email you have sent to us. Maybe they are going to your junk mail or spam folder... you sent us several emails asking the same questions... and we answered them all. Last week you emailed us and said if you don't get a reply, you'll attack us on all the message boards, which you now are doing. All we can do is reply to your emails, as requested, which we did, and very quickly I might add.
Jason replied to your original questions and when you contacted me directly, I replied on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 9:38 AM.

dmartin95, I'm sorry to hear you say that. Justin, ok, if this is some sort of mistake, then I apologize for speaking out against Bintelli's lack of response. I checked my Junk/SPAM folder and there is nothing in there. I have the message saved as a notepad because I have typed it so many times. I figured I would keep sending and eventually you would reply. Yes, I did say in the last message that I would put it on the boards. Not because I want to "attack" Bintelli, it's because I was feeling extremely frustrated at the fact that I wasn't even getting a response. That's what really got me upset. I chose Bintelli mainly based upon reviews I found in these types of forums. I visited Bintellis website and it looked modern and up to date and even had parts diagrams. I'm the type that likes to fix my scooter so these looked like the perfect scoot. However, when it came to getting help after the sale, I felt as if the door was being slammed in my face. I have spent roughly $4500 Buying Bintelli Scooters this past summer, so I hope you can understand my frustrations. I purchased the Scorch from Jason in GR, MI, a havoc 150cc from Sarasota Scooters in FL, and another 150cc Havoc from Mark at Adell auto center in WI. This should entitle me to a little bit of customer service. Anyhow, I apologize if you have in fact replied and if for whatever reason, hotmail just did not deliver the message. However, this board will provide us the unique opportunity to get around that. Would you please send me the information I requested VIA this board? Either through a PM, create a thread or right in this thread.... Thank you for the response BTW.
