Sooo much work went into modding the stock harness to fit the naked mod that i feel it is too much. I can pick up a decent scoot off of craigslist. Restart from there.
Heck, i got this one for 280 and with proper tuning i ran 140mi commutes at 50mph for a year, 64xxmiles of hard riding. And it got run over by A truck.

Just trying to make it easy for the guy, to determine what his motor needs is all. I see your form Illinois maybe you have seen some of my HOTRODS at Joliet Drag Strip or up in Wisconsin DRAG AWAY or if your old enough at US 30 DRAG STRIP in INDIANA. You see I have been building Hotrod motors for DECADES so yes I am a very savvy wrencher and these 1 cylinder put puts are very simple, to me anyway. So I try to help the folks on here with some of the most common problems the scoots have and is why I posted a lot of stuff on the TIPS and Tricks thread. Gets tiring typing the same things over and over for the most common and basic problems with motors and cvts. Alleyoop
You got my attention with the US 30 Drag Strip! One of my "childhood haunts"... I'll bet you remember Oswego Drag Strip too... That's the first place I ran my Harley chopper after its final build, turning if I recall, an 11 flat at 137 mph. I weighed over 350 then... My 76-pound gal friend then went out and turned a 10.47 at 140+. Unreal for the day, but I suppose a modern 650 grocery-getter would do that today... No insurance or helmets back then... Well i guess i do have a ton of work into it. But if i do im going to start over with a chassis that has not been run over and just swap my motor over. Ill lose the cool naked look but i can work on that over the winter.
The question is what caused this in the first place?
