Hello Everyone, This is my first post to scootdawg, a friend of mine was riding a scooter the other day, and I took up a fascination with them. They look pretty cheesy to me, but deep down I think it's probably a lot of fun. So I've been checking craigslist and what not trying to track one down for cheap and I came across this listing: kansascity.craigslist.org/mcd/4001282920.htmlI was curious if someone could tell me one way or another if I should check and see if they still have it, or if I should run. Also, I don't mind wrenching (half the fun). Also I found an Eton Beamer 50cc for 800$. Matt

Well I was really thinking about 300, that way when it craps out, i'm not too butthurt, and I won't feel like it's an urgent matter to fix.

I say why not stop by the dealer and check it out? Talk with them, get a feeling if they're shady and trying to push vehicles that aren't in good running shape, or a legit small-dealership. Take along your friend if he'll go, have him ride it and let you know how it goes and how it feels.
I mean, since you're just looking for a scoot for fun and for cheap, won't hurt to check.
