I've had it on my tao tao for about a week now and I've noticed twice that when run wide open for a while, she tops out at 9k rpm and not a single digit more. Definitely a bit better performance than the stock cdi in terms of acceleration and max rpm but I only picked up 1mph top end. Doesn't start any easier, however mine may be harder to start due to the 24mm carb. The 3 wire install is simple and can clean things up a little over having a seperate coil and wiring. I spliced on a harness from an old cdi so that I could plug the ban-jing into the stock cdi wiring. I also left the other coil in place and stashed the old cdi in the battery tray as a backup. If the ban-jing ever goes out, I can simply plug the old stuff right back in. Here's the link: enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/15815284/high-performance-cdi-coil-gy6-50
