It's hard to say much. Check all the basics right? Spark, compression, fuel/air, and timing. A low battery could be the issue...

Awesome he's there for you p)
Anyway checking for spark... Pull the plug (unless you have a spare) Put the plug back in the boot, touch the electrode side of plug to something metal on the engine engage the starter, watch for spark in between electrode and plug end. Be sure you are not touching anything metal on the plug. Make sure you re-hooked your ground strap to the engine before you do all that.

If fuel is on the spark plug and your not starting it could be no spark . With the spark plug touching a engen bolt or some other ground( can run a jumper wire to the thread of the bolt and the other end to a part of the frame is what I have done in the past ) , try the starter button and see if the plug is firing . If it isn't try another plug laying around ....it doesn't matter what it's from because you are only checking that the coil is firing to the plug. If with another plug it is not firing then its your coil or Cdi that has bit the dust more than likely . If on the other hand the original plug doesn't fire and the spare plug does then its your plug , take to autozone and get another. If the plug does fire and you are getting fuel then it could be either out of time or possible vacuumed leak when you reassembled it did you check that all of the hoses are connected? If all are and no vacuumed leak , plug is firing and you triple checked at the stator and cam that it is in time then it could be a stuck valve not closing all the way under the compression stroke .

Coil or Cdi bad ...Cdi more likely .....oooorrrrr ....the connection has come loose not making a good connection to the Cdi is probable . Check all the connections again . This is when having a couple of everything comes in realy handy .

Ok, I will go recheck all my connections. I dont know how they would go bad over night though, was running great before the exhaust bolt snapped and needed the head replaced, cdi is like new also.

All connections are good. I have spark now. I had to disconnect that safety wire for the kickstand.
I have a feeling it's the timing..... I followed that guide I posted but I guess I messed something up.
Anyone have a better guide to follow?

I would again check that you are is proper time and that there are no vacuum leaks like maybe a peace of dirt on the intake port seal or something when you put the I take back on the cylinder . Check the stator that is is on "T" and the cam that it is we're it is supposed to be .

I know all the hoses are tight, didn't take any off. The only thing I took off was the carb/intake. I will go out in a few mins after it stops drizzling and double check the timing. No need to take the head off again for that right?
If the camshft isnt aligned right how do I properly move it around without moving the stator?

No need to take the head off just the valve cover and the stator cover to check the marks . You will have to take off the cam tensioner to get slack on the chain then unbolt the cam to reposition it with the proper marks on the stator .
