Motor starts and scooter drives fine. The only electrical that works is the head light. It gets brighter with throttle. Key start ,turnsignals horn ,breaklight , and cluster lights do NOT work. I've been told its a bad ground.

Very good place to start and especially check it where the negative battery cable hooks to the frame. Fuse, did you check for a inline fuse off of the battery, lights run off of the stator so this is a voltage problem from the battery part of the system.

All the connections are good. i poped open the ignition switch to find only one wire coming out of it. there was another spot with sawder(Sorry about the spelling)and no wire connecting to it. would there be a reason for sawder with out a wire connection?

Im in the process of connecting all the wires right now. i think there may be a wire with no home. could it possibly be from the ignition switch or is one wire from that normal?
