<------strange how the only way that smiley appears on this forum now is using "Quick Reply".... EDIT: I take that back, the one I clicked using "quick reply" looks like the old one that "laughs so hard it cries" but shows up differently.

It's kind of hard to explain guys but this is the way PB's layout works. You have the Reply at the bottom right hand corner of each post and the Quick Reply box at the bottom. In the old days of SD and on a lot of PB's forums the Quick Reply area was a simple box with a few smilies and not even a Spell check. Even now it doesn't have the options of all the things you can do on the Reply box.
PB's has this all set in the script and the smilies were their "default" smilies. But some of us and the coders at the PB support forum found ways to add to and/or cheat the default script. On the Reply box there are I believe 16 smilies by default and I can change them to anything I want by changing the image url and no more.
The Quick Reply is a different animal. The script has to be changed, re-written and coded to make this work but I can go with up to 25 smilies because the number is not fixed like on the Reply box. But work it is and the reason I'm not going with any others is again before you know it we will be going to the new V5 software and the smiley options are more, better, and easier.
Let's do this, why don't all of you list smileis you like and give the link and place of where they are and I can keep a list for the future upgrade.

My fave of course--cool me riding Peej Otherwise I like them. Don't know why some of the "first string" repeat in the extras, but I'm good. And thanks to JR for continuing to take care of us! >'Kat

I like all of them really... including the additions of the laughing smiley and the bug-eye smiley
Is there a limit to the amount you can put on the board's? I had a forum going thru proboards I think, and I don't remember there being a limit. I had all kinds

All of the above smilies are just me testing. I did change them a bit, added the wink back to a real wink and added some to the quick reply.
Main thing is I finally figured out how to start uploading and linking images on my godaddy server. I've got the reply and quick reply converted to it.
No more disappearing and no more dealing with photobucket. -X Now I will use it until I can move a lot of my stuff and also I'll downsize it for my own use of photos on the forums.
At least now when we convert it'll be one less headache to deal with. ;p Good night to all see ya tomorrow. -p
