I need a couple of scooters serviced in Miami Beach, but I want to make sure I go somewhere reputable. They haven't been used in a while, just need to get checked over and one has a punctured tire. One caveat, though: One of the scooters in question is a vintage Vespa restored in the US. Seems a lot of shops don't want to touch it, and I'm running out of options. Anybody know a guy?

Thanks! This seems like it should do the trick.

If I where you, I'd go to downtown Miami, Vespa of Miami LLC 2010 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33137
Seems the most legit place to be. If not there, there's only one Vespa store in Miami Beach that I know of, it's on south beach, Alton road, and 17th street That's the sales channel, but they must have a way to get these bikes repaired.

[replyingto=prodigit]prodigit[/replyingto]It was weird--the guy I talked to at the Vespa store wanted nothing to do with the Vespa since it's vintage! He was up-front about it, though, so hey--I can respect that. The guys at Beach Scooter took care of it, though. Everything was above-board and well done. I appreciate the advice, all!

He probably didn't want to have anything to do with it, because you didn't buy it from him.
Vintage or not, if they are a licensed Vespa dealer they can't deny you service. If they do, they're not a licensed (by vespa) sales channel.
Anyway, there are plenty of chinese scooter stores that will want to work on your scoot, and for much cheaper. Though they may not be able to get any body panels, or stock parts, but aftermarket parts.
