What is this..and what does it do?? Ran across it while browsing for Jog parts. It is labeled as a 'Jog Flasher'.. Ok...but flasher for what..turn signals??? Seems like a lot of wires and plugs for a Signal flasher as all I have seen are either 2 or 3 prong connectors..

Maybe it modulates the brake lights also, doing a little google search, I found this: dx.com/p/motorcycle-brake-light-double-flasher-for-yamaha-fuxi-jog-light-grey-194692- Function: Brake light double flasher - Power supply: DC 12V - Special for Yamaha FuXi, Jog - Effect after fixing: 4 steering lights will flash at the same time when braking; Open the steering light while braking, the control chip will jump to steering light automatically

You put that around your bicep when you jog.

I am still wondering what this is: They call it a "Modified motorcycle accessories jog r for sz gy6125 oil cooler oil radiator". What is a "jog" and what does it do and why does it look like a little muffler? Can you put flashers on it?

Scooter, I could totally be wrong but looking at that "oil cooler" My best guess would be that it plugs into your oil vent tube and works by somehow cooling the ambient air inside the crank case. I have to seriously wonder if it's just snake oil, but it does look cool, I'll give it that.
The other thing I'm guessing is some sort of flasher that you install on your blinker lights so that they blink when you hit your brakes.. I'm not so sure I would want that. Could be very confusing to some drivers behind you.

The JOG is a blinker that makes your taillight blink when you brake a few times. You can modify the settings on it. They are common with sportbikes. The oil cooler does just as the name implies and cools your motor the help performance, alot of people in taiwan use them since they race them.

I've actually considered putting one of these on my bike. One of the first things my wife told me after following me was that I needed brighter lights on the rear end. I replaced all of the lights with LEDs and it makes a huge difference, but a blinkie light on your stopper would be even better. More visibility is always better. As for the oil cooler, whatever it is it would be a perfect attachment if you are building a steampunk scoot, even if it doesn't really do anything.

I usually hate these ebay snake oil mods or all these things people do like plastering their bikes with stickers. A pirelli or ducati sticker isn't going to make your bike faster. But this thing looks cool enough that I would put one on.

I saw a kit on another forum that claimed to turn your two stroke into a four stroke. All bolt on stuff. I'll have to see if I can dig that up. It was hilarious.
