I just got my 80cc bbk running and took her for a little spin, but i feel like shes running a little to hot, would my next step to be adjust f/a mix then set idle and start checking the plug to see if shes running lean or rich?

btw thank you guys so much for all the help you have given you have no idea how much i appreciate your input bc without you guys my scooter wouldnt be running and I love this bike and i just want to say thank you guys so much i will remain active and help others and especially to allyoop millsc jerseyboy and a couple others who greatly helped me when i needed it the most!

Did you you increase the size of your mainjet? I would start there if you didn't

its the 24mm carb from scrappy idk the size of the main jet should i give them a call to find out?

its a 38 pilot 105 main.
im also getting some backfiring when i let off the gas.

That carb is pretty big if its popping and back firing on decel you need to increase the jet size. Do you have any others?

yes i am using the big valve head i tapped it out btw buford.
I do not have anyother jets once i get paid in about a week i could go buy the drill set and drill out the ones from my stock carb.
sry for the response time i was putting my plastics back on.

scoot said i need to go bigger, buford you say i need to go smaller. oh and ihad to keep the spacer there btw bc without the spacer i couldnt adjust my f/a mix bc my cam chain tightener was completely blocking it so i have to have the spacer there.

i check my plug the porcelain is grey-ish white that means im running lean right?

im sorry you are right 105 main..i was talking to some one else sorry..but the spacer is a 24mm correct? never like them spacer's they crack and are a pain...
